Sunday Sauce - Grass Fed Steak Marinara - Serves 2 to 3ppl
This is the quintessential Sunday family dinner comfort food. Slow cooked grass fed beef in a pot simmering with tomatoes all Sunday long until dinner time.
Growing up, the meat in the sauce varied based on what was available—one weekend, it might be spicy Italian sausage, the next, it might be spareribs.
This week we have taken all hand cut New York Strip, Fillet Mignon, and Brisket and slow cooked them all day with peak of the season Yakama Beefsteak tomatoes, plenty of garlic and a whole lot of fancy Italian oregano. It's perfect when paired with the pasta of your choice or a piece of nice, crusty bread (like our summer sour focaccia).
